Crankshaft oil seals are assmbled for proof engine oil, it separates components which needs lubrication and which outputs torque, in order to make sure engine oil will not be leaked throught rear crankshaft, typical structure is TC structure, rubber material whole covered on steel with self-tight spring and 2 lips.

There are 2 crankshaft oil seals in each engine: Front crankshaft oil seal and Rear crankshaft oil seal, use viton FPM(FKM) mostly, or PTFE( Teflon) better, lifetime over 5 years or 120,000 KM.
